On a walk in Wyre recently I spotted a nibbled Funnel Cap toadstool, so stopped to search underneath for the elusive Lemon Slug.

Under the leaves I found this tiny young toad so carefully popped it on top of the toadstool for a while whilst I completed my search.

I didn’t find a Lemon Slug but I was delighted to meet this small amphibian who sat nicely for a photo before I returned it to its place under its mushroom umbrella.
